About

My name is Hannah Rivard, and I am a 2012 graduate of Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Entrepreneurial Business that I designed myself. While in college, I became known all over Northwestern as "that girl with all the scholarships" and soon began speaking about how I funded 100% of my $100,000 college tuition through scholarships. After I spoke at one particularly large event, I had several mothers in tears hugging me, saying how they were so encouraged about the prospects for financing their child's higher education now, and imploring me to keep on speaking about this to others.

And so I have. What started as just sharing my experience with a few people here and there in coffee shops exploded into speaking at college funding organizations, universities, honors programs, and college preview days, and then my e-book appeared (well, after a lot of work, it appeared).

It is my mission to never see students not go to the college they want to nor be able to pursue the dreams they have simply because of a lack of finances. Nothing gives me more joy than empowering students to graduate from college debt free with nothing holding them back.

Thus, Thousand Dollar Hour was born.
